Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all interaction with Donkey Box Bars and, by placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you should not place an order with us.



  • "Conditions" means these terms and conditions including the FAQs on our website

  • "Product" means any item sold by us

  • "Personal Information" means the details provided by you;

  • "We/us" means Donkey Box Bars

  • "Website" means the website located at www.thedonkeybox.com

  • "You" means a user of our services.


1. Prices

All prices are subject to change without notice.


2. Payments

A booking fee is payable when you confirm that you wish to use the services of Donkey Box Bars. Booking fees are non-refundable after 14 days.

Deposits must be paid in full 30 days prior to the date of the event.

Any deposit paid on minimum spends are non-refundable should any client cancel within 7 days.


3. Products

We make every effort to supply products as agreed, but reserve the right to substitute alternative varieties and brands if necessary at our discretion.


4.Transportation and Access

The company and its owners accept no liability for failure to deliver the services due to adverse weather conditions, unforeseen traffic conditions or the failure of any vehicle during the transportation to events.

During the transportation to and from events the company and its owners accept no blame or liability for the damage of contents which are in the storage of any vehicle, this includes goods in transit ordered by any client.

It is the responsibility of all clients to ensure suitable access is available to their chosen venue, should suitable access not be available the company and its owners, at their discretion, reserve the right to refuse to provide the services agreed - whether partly or in full.


5. Cancellation

The company reserves the right to cancel by giving at least six weeks written notice, in the unlikely event of cancellation the company will make full refund of any monies paid.

The client has the right to cancel at any given notice. Cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail or by post. Any booking fees are non-refundable after 14 days from the date of the payment.

Any drinks packages or service fees paid for in advance are fully refundable up until 6 weeks prior to the date of the event, beyond 6 weeks no refund is available.


6. Licensing

The appropriate license to sell alcohol needs to be applied for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to an event. We accept no liability for a failure to obtain a license if you supply incorrect or incomplete details. We also accept no responsibility for the refusal of an alcohol license by a local authority.

The sale of alcoholic products shall be in accordance with the licensing act Scotland (2015).


7. General

It is solely at our discretion to refuse to serve alcohol to any individuals or groups.

Apart from the collecting of our glassware we have no responsibility for the collection, tidying or disposal of bottles, cans or other items used by us during your event.

The sale of alcoholic products shall be in accordance with the licensing act Scotland (2015).
